My client is currently recruiting experienced and reliable Multi Trade Operatives to join their growing responsive repairs and maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position working within occupied social housing properties, carrying out a variety of repair and maintenance tasks to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out plastering repairs and maintenance work to a high standard
- Undertake basic plumbing repairs and minor installations
- Complete carpentry repairs, adjustments, and general joinery tasks
- Carry out a wide range of reactive maintenance and property repairs
- Work efficiently within occupied and tenanted properties
- Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and in line with company standards
- Use handheld PDA systems to manage and update jobs
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
Requirements
- Strong plastering experience (NVQ Level 2 preferred)
- Multi-skilled background with plumbing and carpentry experience desirable
- Experience working within social housing, repairs, or maintenance environments
- Ability to diagnose faults and complete repairs independently
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience using PDAs or mobile working technology
- NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent trade qualification desirable
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Able to pass a DBS check
- Professional and customer-focused approach

- Salary up to £40,660 depending on experience
