We're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider supporting a critical healthcare environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a prestigious contract, ensuring essential electrical systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.
Working as part of a professional Estates team, you'll play a key role in delivering planned and reactive maintenance while supporting the reliable operation of a live critical site.
What you'll be doing:- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs safely and efficiently
- Ensuring electrical installations comply with current regulations and industry standards
- Supporting statutory inspections, testing, and certification
- Responding to emergency breakdowns and prioritising critical systems
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records using CAFM systems
- Liaising with contractors and internal teams to support engineering works
- Working safely within a live critical environment while following Health & Safety procedures
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or Electrical Engineering
- 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience within Facilities Management, Building Services, or a similar maintenance environment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Good understanding of statutory compliance and safe working practices
- Experience working within healthcare or other critical environments
- Experience using CAFM or maintenance management systems
- Salary up to £42,000
