Key Responsibilities:

  • Multiple groundworkers required for a long term role.
  • Site Preparation: Clearing vegetation, removing debris, and leveling ground, including setting up safety barriers and site fencing.
  • Foundations and Drainage: Digging, laying, and compacting foundations for buildings, as well as installing drainage systems and deep pipework.
  • Concreting: Pouring, finishing, and setting concrete for slabs and structures.
  • Hard Landscaping: Laying kerbs, slabs, concrete, and finishing driveways or footpaths.
  • Machinery Operation: Operating construction plant machinery, such as dumper trucks and rollers, often requiring relevant tickets (e.g., CPCS or NPORS).
  • Utility Installation: Installing underground services like electricity cables and water pipes.

Qualifications:

  • CSCS required.
  • NPORS or CPCS - Dumper roller ticket required.
  • UK RTW required.
  • Groundworking experience.
