We are seeking people from the Wellington / Taunton area of Somerset who would like to retrain and become Highways Maintenance Operatives. This is a permanent position with full training given.
Applicants need to hold a UK Drivers License and be physically fit. People with a background in construction, agriculture or the Armed / Emergency Services are welcomed, as are candidates with driving and logistics experience.
Successful candidates will embark on a career in highways which includes training on plant and machinery and gritting lorries and learning the skills necessary to keep the UK Highways network running and safe.
