Setsquare recruitment is working with FM Companies who are responsible for managing a mixture of reactive and planned maintenance contracts across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor gas engineers and plumbers, including conducting 1:1 meetings and toolbox talks.
- Quality & Compliance: Inspect completed work to ensure it meets technical standards, quality requirements, and legal regulations, including Gas Safe and water regulations.
- Operations Management: Oversee the allocation and scheduling of daily jobs, repairs, and servicing to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
- Technical Support: Provide expert guidance on complex technical issues to resolve issues promptly.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to Health & Safety regulations and relevant gas safety legislations.
- Resource Control: Manage van stock, tools, and equipment to ensure team members are fully equipped for their tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
- Certifications: Valid Gas Safe registration with up-to-date ACS qualifications (e.g., CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1).
