The role involves collecting, moving, sorting, processing, and dispatching waste and other materials as part of both scheduled routines and ad-hoc client requests. The successful candidate will load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste from service yards and collection points, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Responding to ad-hoc waste collection requests and liaising directly with the client
  • Carrying out regular litter picks to maintain cleanliness in working areas
  • Ensuring high standards of tidiness are upheld across the site
  • Complying with waste legislation when handling all materials
  • Completing daily check sheets for equipment and reporting any unsafe conditions

  • Valid FLT Counterbalance licence with experience operating safely in busy yard environments
