We are looking for an experienced and motivated Asbestos Surveyor to join a growing environmental consultancy. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a wide range of residential, commercial, and industrial projects, delivering high-quality asbestos surveys in line with UK legislation and industry standards.
You will play a key role in ensuring our clients remain compliant, safe, and well-informed through accurate inspections and reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys
- Carry out bulk sampling of suspected asbestos-containing materials (ACMs)
- Produce clear, accurate, and compliant survey reports
- Ensure work aligns with HSG264 and all relevant regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Maintain high standards of health & safety on site
- Travel to sites across the region as required
- BOHS P402 qualified (essential)
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in asbestos surveying
- Strong working knowledge of UK asbestos regulations and HSG264 guidance
- Experience conducting both Management and R&D surveys
- Excellent attention to detail and report writing skills
- Good communication and client-facing ability
- Full UK driving licence
- Additional BOHS modules (e.g. P403, P404)
- Experience working in commercial and industrial environments
- CSCS card
