Position: Multi-Trade Operative

Hours: 42.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm)

Location: Ealing W5

Rate: £22.95/hour on UMB (Temp to perm)

Benefits: Van and fuel card provided

Multi Trade skillset required: Plumbing or Carpentry Bias

Role Overview: We're looking for a skilled and versatile Multi-Skilled Operative to join a busy responsive repairs contract. You'll deliver high-quality maintenance across multiple trades, including plumbing, carpentry, plastering, tiling, and decorating, ensuring residents' homes in Social Housing remain safe and functional.

Key Duties:

  • Carry out responsive repairs in occupied and void social housing properties
  • Repair or replace skirting boards, doors, handles, locks, and hinges
  • Install and adjust kitchen units and worktops
  • Patch plastering, wall/floor tiling, painting, and decorating
  • Identify and fix minor plumbing issues (leaks, dripping taps, blocked sinks)
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle
  • Accurately record work using handheld devices or job sheets
  • Deliver excellent customer service while respecting residents' homes

Candidate Requirements:

  • Valid Driving License (DL) (over 21, held for 3+ months, <6 points)
  • DBS Check (we will process at offer stage)
