RG Setsquare is currently recruiting for a Site Operative to join a busy team working on essential projects across the Devon area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is physically fit, and is looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential for a permanent position.
Job Details
- Location: Devon (EX5)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, typically 1:00/2:00 PM - 9:00 PM (some flexibility required)
- Company Vehicle: Transit tipper provided. Start and finish each day on site, with the option to take the vehicle home.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out traffic management equipment, including No Parking cones ahead of scheduled works
- Collecting and transporting signs, barriers, and cones from work sites
- Assisting site teams with general labouring duties, including backfilling when required
- Carrying and moving site equipment, involving regular manual handling and heavy lifting
- Supporting the team to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to carry out physically demanding work
- Towing experience is desirable
- Streetworks qualification is advantageous, although training can be provided
- No CSCS card required
