We are recruiting for an experienced Managing Surveyor to lead the commercial delivery of a major, long-term contract within a well-established and financially secure organisation. The Role
- Lead and inspire a high-performing commercial team
- Take full ownership of contract commercials, including cost control, forecasting, and reporting
- Manage risk and identify opportunities to improve performance and efficiency
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Analyse and interrogate data using advanced Excel skills, including working with SOR codes where applicable
- Prepare and present commercial reports to senior leadership
- Support operational teams to align commercial and service delivery objectives
- Drive continuous improvement across the contract
About You
We’re looking for someone who can bring:
- Proven experience in a commercial or surveying role (e.g. Managing Surveyor, Commercial Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor)
- Background in construction, property services, or asset management
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in contracts, cost control, and financial management
