Join the engineering team at a major data centre facility in Slough. You will work alongside the Engineering Supervisor and shift teams, taking ownership of planned and reactive maintenance while operating as a Low Voltage Authorised Person.
Role Summary:
- Carry out routine maintenance on all building plant, equipment, and systems to meet and exceed SLAs
- Respond to BMS alarms and manage emergency repairs
- Issue and manage Permit to Work controls
- Create and maintain switching schedules, SOPs and EOPs in line with company policy
- Maintain evaporative cooling and domestic water systems to L8 compliance
- Keep comprehensive maintenance records (REALM task sheets)
- Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments for in-house tasks
- Supervise engineering subcontractors and review RAMS documentation
- Support real-time incident and fault management in a business-critical environment
What You'll Need:
- LV Authorised Person (or working towards)
- Current Wiring Regulations certificate
- Level 3 NVQ in a related discipline
- Emergency First Aid at Work qualification
- Experience in a similar role within a critical environment
- Solid understanding of H&S obligations around maintenance activity
- Knowledge of interlinked systems (Fire, PMS, BMS)
- PASMA & IPAF preferred
- Manual Handling training an advantage
Package:
- Salary up to £51,500 + 8% non-contractual bonus + 3-4% annual increases
- Overtime at enhanced rates (1.5x and 2.0x)
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week
