We are seeking an experienced and passionate Service Manager to lead a specialist homelessness service supporting adults with complex needs in Coventry. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a supported accommodation scheme, working closely with local homelessness services and outreach teams to help individuals sustain their tenancies, improve their wellbeing, and move towards greater independence. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service ensuring that the service delivers excellent outcomes for residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operation of a supported accommodation service for adults with complex needs.
  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of support workers and concierge staff.
  • Ensure high-quality housing management, including rent collection, void management and tenancy sustainment.
  • Maintain compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and organisational policies and procedures.
  • Develop strong partnerships with local authorities, statutory agencies and community organisations.
  • Monitor service performance, quality standards and contractual requirements.
  • Manage service budgets and resource allocation effectively.

We are looking for a confident and proactive manager who has:

  • Experience managing services for vulnerable adults.
  • Experience working with people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
  • Proven experience leading, supervising and developing staff teams.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding practices and risk management.
  • Experience of housing management, including tenancy sustainment and arrears management.
