The predicted salary is between 34538 - 42214 Β£ per year.

Location: Stratford-upon-Avon, Coventry and surrounding areas

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

Salary & Package:

  • £37,440 basic salary
  • Up to 5% annual bonus (paid pro rata each March)
  • OTE up to £39,312
  • On-call rota approximately 1 week in every 6 weeks
  • £100 standby payment per on-call week
  • £50 per call-out attended

The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent Electrician to join our responsive repairs and maintenance team. You will cover a portfolio of social housing properties across Stratford-upon-Avon, Coventry and the surrounding areas.

You will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of electrical maintenance, repairs, inspection and testing, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You will take ownership of your work, striving for a first-time fix while maintaining excellent customer service.

About the Work:

Our team delivers maintenance and improvement works across a large portfolio of residential properties throughout the region. Workstreams include responsive repairs, planned maintenance, void property refurbishments and capital improvement projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Install, service and maintain electrical systems and appliances in accordance with current IET Wiring Regulations.
  • Inspect, test, repair and certify electrical installations.
  • Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and associated remedial works.
  • Carry out responsive and reactive maintenance repairs.
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical faults.
  • Complete all required certification and documentation accurately.
  • Liaise with supervisors regarding additional trade requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with other operatives and trades.
  • Complete daily worksheets and material records.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to residents.
  • Achieve first-time fixes wherever possible.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (2356) with AM2.
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification.
  • Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 penalty points and no recent driving bans.
  • Ability to pass a Basic DBS check.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection.
  • City & Guilds 2377 qualification.
  • Unvented Hot Water Certificate.
  • Water Regulations Certificate.
  • JIB Card and current JIB Health & Safety Test.
  • PAT Testing qualification.
