RG Set Square are currently looking for M & E specialists. Location: St Austell. Duration: 11 months +. Rate: Negotiable depending on duration.
We are seeking a qualified Commercial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, upgrade, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical systems to identify issues.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure optimal electrical design and installation.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national safety codes and regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Must be able to pass a D&A test.
- In date DBS or agree to one being actioned.
- ECS card required.
- City & Guilds 2357 - NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation.
- City & Guilds 2382 - IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
- City & Guilds 2391 - Testing and inspection of electrical installations (Not a necessity but an advantage).
- Any extra EAL Qualifications e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation (will be an advantage).
- Any Safe Electricity Certification (will be an advantage).
- Proven experience as a commercial electrician (min 3 years).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proven right to live and work in the UK.
- Fluent in English.
