Our client is a leading construction building contractor/developer, looking for a Contracts Manager to help run projects throughout Kent into Essex. Typical sectors will include residential and commercial and health new builds as well as government framework projects. Typical size of projects ranges from £2million to £10million in value.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans to ensure successful completed projects on time, incorporating budget control, assistance to the design team, resource allocation and team management.
- Manage new projects and projects already underway.
- Coordinate with the design team, consultants, contractors and subcontractors, ensuring clear and concise communication with all parties including stakeholders.
- Oversee the basics of pre‑construction for each new project.
- Manage/oversee 2–4 projects at any given time.
Qualifications
- Hons in Construction Management, Beng in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Black CSCS minimum NVQ level 6 required.
- SMSTS – required.
- Strong IT skills.
