Static Mechanical Engineer
North London
£40,000 - £48,000 per annum
Full-Time | Static Site
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on:
- Plumbing systems
- AHUs, extract and intake ventilation systems
- FCUs and thermal wheels
- Booster sets, calorifiers and water heaters
- Diagnose faults and identify defects, ensuring remedial works are completed efficiently
- Produce accurate maintenance reports, inspections and service documentation
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of work
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with on-site stakeholders
- Support the safe and efficient operation of all mechanical plant and equipment
Requirements
- Previous experience within building maintenance, facilities management or a commercial maintenance environment
- Mechanical qualification such as City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent
- Good understanding of mechanical building services and maintenance practices
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe working procedures
- Comfortable using mobile devices and maintenance reporting systems
- Strong communication skills with a proactive and professional approach
- Ability and willingness to obtain MET Police SC Clearance
