We're looking for a skilled Electrical Shift Engineer to join a prestigious hospital site in Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a critical healthcare environment, supporting essential electrical systems that ensure the smooth and safe operation of hospital services.

What you'll be doing:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance
  • Monitoring, maintaining, and fault-finding on electrical plant and systems
  • Responding quickly to breakdowns and emergencies, minimising disruption
  • Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety and statutory regulations
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records and compliance documentation
  • Working collaboratively with engineering teams and FM colleagues to ensure continuity of service

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer within FM or building services
  • Previous experience in a hospital or critical environment (highly desirable)
  • NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent electrical qualifications
  • Ability to provide certificates at interview stage
  • Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and statutory testing (desirable)
  • Flexible and reliable approach to working continental shifts
