We’re looking for two experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to join a leading UK Facilities Management company on a prestigious hospital site in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a critical healthcare environment, supporting essential mechanical systems that ensure safe and efficient hospital operations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive mechanical maintenance
- Maintaining, repairing, and fault-finding on mechanical plant and building services systems
- Working on pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs, pipework, valves, and HVAC systems
- Responding to breakdowns quickly and efficiently to minimise disruption
- Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety and statutory regulations
- Completing maintenance reports and documentation accurately
- Liaising with the engineering team and client representatives
What we’re looking for:
- NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC or equivalent
- Proven experience within facilities management or commercial maintenance
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience in critical environments (desirable)
- Good communication skills and professional approach
Desirable:
- Hospital or healthcare maintenance experience
- AP/CP knowledge
- Multi-skilled experience
