We're looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a leading Facilities Management provider, supporting a prestigious critical commercial site in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-profile environment, delivering first-class maintenance while developing your career with a market-leading FM business.
Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you'll help ensure critical electrical systems remain safe, reliable, and fully operational.
What you'll be doing:- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs across building services plant
- Maintaining lighting, emergency lighting, power distribution, UPS, HVAC, and associated equipment
- Responding to breakdowns and ensuring minimal disruption to critical operations
- Updating maintenance records and completing all relevant documentation
- Liaising with engineers and site teams to deliver a high standard of service
- Following all Health & Safety procedures within a live critical environment
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience within Facilities Management or commercial building services
- Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance skills
- Ability to work effectively within a continental shift team
- Good communication and client-facing skills
- Experience within critical environments such as banking, data centres, or high-profile commercial buildings
- HV/LV knowledge or switching experience
- Up to £45,000 basic salary + £3,140 shift allowance
