Salary: £23 per hour
Contract Type: 3 Months ongoing, with potential for a permanent position
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
On permanent Basis: £37,000 per annum salary + Van & Fuel card.

Key Responsibilities:
- General Carpentry Work: Carry out a wide range of carpentry tasks, including 1st and 2nd fix, door hanging, skirting, architraves, and other joinery duties.
- Social Housing Repairs & Maintenance: Work in both occupied and void properties, performing repairs and maintenance on various elements of social housing, including kitchens, bathrooms, windows, and doors.
- Property Refurbishments: Undertake refurbishment tasks across multiple housing units, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with tenants and the public to ensure work is completed on time, to a high standard, with minimal disruption.
- Health & Safety: Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Maintenance & Minor Upgrades: Assist with general maintenance and minor upgrades, including carpentry, flooring, and home improvements.
- Multi-Trade Responsibilities: Support other trades on-site, including plumbing, plastering, tiling, and electrical work. Assist with multi-trade tasks as needed.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with other tradespeople, including plumbers, electricians, and general labourers, to complete tasks efficiently.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Carpenter: Must have relevant Carpentry qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ) and experience in 1st and 2nd fix carpentry.
- Proven Experience: Experience in the social housing or property maintenance sector is preferred.
- Full UK Driving License: Must have a valid driving license and be able to drive the company van (provided).
- Multi-Skilled: Ability to perform a range of other trades (plumbing, plastering, tiling, etc.) or assist with other tasks when required.
- Customer-Focused: Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with tenants and clients.
- Self-Motivated: Able to work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines and complete work to a high standard.
- Health & Safety Awareness: Knowledge and commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
