Building Surveyor | 4-6 month assignment | 35-40 per hour Umbrella.
We are working with a Local Authority who are looking to appoint an experienced Building Surveyor to join their Asset Management team.
The role will provide specialist building services and energy management expertise across a diverse property portfolio, overseeing maintenance, inspections, improvement works and supporting capital projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and inspecting building services installations and upgrades.
- Supporting planned maintenance and improvement programmes.
- Preparing specifications, budgets and works programmes.
- Managing statutory inspection and compliance programmes.
- Providing specialist technical advice on building services and energy management.
- Liaising with contractors and internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have strong building services knowledge, relevant technical qualifications and experience within property maintenance, surveying or facilities management.
