We are currently recruiting for an experienced NGED Site Manager to support the delivery of electricity infrastructure projects across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established utility contractor on a long-term contract with a strong pipeline of work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day site operations on NGED projects.
  • Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.
  • Supervising direct labour, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Leading site briefings, toolbox talks, and safety inspections.
  • Ensuring compliance with NGED specifications, procedures, and industry regulations.
  • Monitoring project progress and reporting to the Project Manager.
  • Maintaining site documentation, permits, and records.
  • Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and operational teams throughout project delivery.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Site Manager within the utilities or power sector.
  • Strong working knowledge of NGED standards and procedures.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering electricity infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Essential Qualifications

  • SMSTS
  • First Aid at Work
  • CSCS Card
  • Relevant utility or electrical industry experience

Desirable

  • NRSWA Supervisor
  • IOSH or NEBOSH
  • SAP or electrical authorisations
