Key Responsibilities- Carpentry (Primary Trade)
- Install, repair, and maintain doors, frames, locks, ironmongery, and windows.
- Fit kitchens, worktops, cabinets, wardrobes, and shelving.
- Carry out first-fix and second-fix carpentry works.
- Repair and replace skirting boards, architraves, flooring, and timber structures.
- Undertake reactive and planned maintenance carpentry works.
- Perform basic plumbing repairs, including replacing taps, sinks, and pipework repairs.
- Carry out patch plastering and minor rendering repairs.
- Complete painting and decorating works following repairs.
- Undertake wall and floor tiling repairs.
- Assist with general building maintenance and refurbishment projects.
- Identify and report any major defects requiring specialist contractors.
- High-quality carpentry workmanship.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
