Press Brake Operative Needed

We need someone who can start ASAP.
Work Timings- Mon to Thus- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM & Fri- 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM
39 hours paid/week
Must have appropriate PPE.
- Operate press brake machinery to bend and form sheet metal components.
- Set up machinery and select appropriate tooling according to job specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions.
- Load, position and handle metal sheets safely.
- Adjust machine settings to achieve the required dimensions and bend angles.
- Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Use measuring equipment, including callipers, verniers and angle gauges.
- Identify and report any machine faults, defects or quality issues.
- Carry out basic machine checks and routine cleaning.
- Follow company health and safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Work effectively with colleagues to meet production deadlines and targets.
- Previous experience operating press brake machinery in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Pay Rate : £15.59/hr PAYE
