We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Site Manager to lead the successful delivery of a residential housing development in Bodmin. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive construction professional with a proven track record in managing volume housing developments and leading site teams to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all on-site construction activities from inception through to completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme milestones.
- Lead, motivate, and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Maintain the highest standards of health, safety, environmental compliance, and site housekeeping.
- Monitor build quality and ensure compliance with company standards, Building Regulations, and NHBC requirements.
- Manage project programmes and identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Chair regular site meetings and communicate progress with senior management.
- Monitor labour, materials, and plant resources to achieve cost-effective delivery.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks throughout the construction process.
- Ensure customer-focused delivery, including managing inspections, snagging, and handovers.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, local authorities, and stakeholders.
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or Site Manager delivering residential housing developments.
- Strong knowledge of traditional and timber frame housebuilding methods.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain programme delivery.
- Thorough understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and CDM Regulations.
- Experience managing build programmes, budgets, and quality standards.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and site reporting systems.
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)

- CSCS Black or Managers Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
