A leading Global Facilities Management company is currently seeking multiple experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineers to join their team on a prestigious hospital contract in Birmingham. These are additional roles to the existing team. The Role

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a large hospital site, ensuring all electrical systems and associated plant equipment remain fully operational and compliant. You will work within a busy healthcare environment where attention to detail, reliability, and a strong understanding of building services maintenance are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
  • Maintaining and repairing electrical plant and building services systems
  • Fault finding and diagnosing mechanical issues efficiently
  • Supporting compliance and ensuring all work is completed to required standards
  • Liaising with the site engineering team and client representatives
  • Ensuring health & safety procedures are always followed
  • Completing maintenance reports and documentation accurately

Requirements

  • NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Electrical Engineering
  • 18th Edition AM2 qualified
  • Previous experience within commercial maintenance or facilities management
  • Strong electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience
  • Experience working within critical environments is advantageous
  • Good communication skills and a professional approach

Desirable:

  • Hospital or healthcare maintenance experience
  • Multi-skilled experience
