We are seeking a skilled Carpenter or Multi-Trade to join a reputable client who specializes in planned and reactive maintenance across Bideford and surrounding areas in North Devon. This is a great opportunity for a versatile tradesperson who is capable of handling a variety of tasks to a high standard in both residential and commercial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out carpentry tasks, including framing, skirting, architraves, and cabinet making
- Performing multi-trade duties such as plastering, painting, tiling, and basic plumbing
- Providing support for both planned maintenance (scheduled work) and reactive maintenance (emergency or urgent repairs)
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and maintaining a clean work environment
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter with a broad multi-trade skillset
- Ability to carry out a variety of tasks, including carpentry, plastering, painting, and basic plumbing
- Experience in both planned and reactive maintenance is desirable
- Strong understanding of health & safety standards
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Full UK driving license and own transport preferred
- CSCS card (desired but not essential)
Location: Bideford and surrounding areas, North Devon
