Our Client, a Large Public Sector provider, requires a Technical Compliance Officer - Fire Safety.

Overview of your role:

The Technical Compliance Officer - Fire Safety plays a pivotal role in supporting fire safety remediation works and ensuring robust compliance across the Council's property portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Addressing issues identified through fire risk assessments.
  • Working collaboratively to implement corrective actions.
  • Assisting in benchmarking the estate to maintain and enhance fire safety standards.
  • Actively contributing to developing and monitoring compliance frameworks.
  • Ensuring that all properties meet legislative and best practice requirements relating to fire safety.
  • Liaising with colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders to foster a culture of safety, vigilance, and continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
  • Working closely with and providing support to the Senior Building Surveyor (Fire Safety) to assist in the improvement of fire safety compliance across the authorities managed estate.

Enhanced DBS required for this role.
