Are you a multi-skilled Handyperson / Assistant Engineer with experience in electrical, plumbing, and joinery? Looking for a versatile and proactive individual to assist our engineers with maintenance and repairs around a government building in Central Edinburgh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting electrical engineers with minor electrical work, including light fittings and wiring support
- Carrying out basic plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks and minor pipework repairs
- Performing general joinery tasks, including repairing shelves, doors, and small fittings
- Supporting engineers with maintenance tasks throughout the building
- Handling minor IT troubleshooting, such as setting up equipment and basic tech support
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
