We are currently working with a growing FMCG client to recruit a skilled Maintenance Engineer for their Nelson site. This is a full-time, days-based role (Monday to Thursday), offering a great work-life balance.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining production equipment, minimising downtime, and supporting operational output through a mix of planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and continuous improvement, working on planned maintenance and breakdowns on food machinery, such as flow wrappers, mixers, coolers, etc.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) across all production equipment.
- Diagnose faults on mechanical machinery.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Manager on this busy site.
