A Central London law firm is looking for a legal cashier to join their accounts department. The position will be supporting the accounts manager and completing the day-to-day tasks of the department.
The Role
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Processing client transactions
- Incoming payments
- Outgoing payments
- Bills delivered / posting the bills and checking that the bills have been sent out to the clients.
- Credit notes
- Credit card payments for money on account and payment of bills delivered.
- Lodging disbursements / counsel fees invoices
About You
- Minimum two years previous experience in a law firm
- Knowledge and experience of Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Strong IT skills – including advanced use of Excel
- Experience using an internal accounting or practice management system – ideally, Partner for Windows (P4W).
