Full-time | Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am – 4:00pm (1-hour lunch)

The Role

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Sales Administrator to join our growing Fluid Power business. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service or sales administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced technical environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting customers, processing orders, preparing quotations, and helping deliver exceptional service across the business. You will work closely with the General Manager and sales team to ensure enquiries, orders, and customer requirements are handled quickly, accurately, and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and update customer orders, purchase orders, and enquiries efficiently
  • Input orders accurately onto the company sales system
  • Answer inbound sales calls, emails, and website enquiries professionally
  • Respond promptly to customer queries with accurate information
  • Prepare quotations and follow up within agreed timescales
  • Handle customer objections and complaints effectively
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service
  • Support urgent and emergency customer orders when required
  • Assist with aspects of manufacturing Fluid Power products (full training provided)
  • Maintain accurate records and administrative documentation
  • Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in Fluid Power, engineering, industrial, manufacturing, or MRO sales
  • Experience in B2B sales administration or customer service
  • Experience handling technical enquiries and quotations
  • Proactive selling experience
