Hedley Hydraulics is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to join our growing Wakefield team. You’ll support customers with quotations, pricing, and technical enquiries while helping convert opportunities into sales. This is a varied role working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams across industries including Energy, Renewables, Flood Defence, Food Processing, and Oil & Gas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and follow up quotations
  • Convert enquiries into orders and generate sales
  • Support new and existing customers
  • Handle pricing and technical queries
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments
  • Maintain accurate records and use internal systems
  • Develop knowledge of hydraulic components
  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times

What We’re Looking For

  • Essential: Sales, telesales, or customer service experience
  • Strong communication and IT skills
  • Organised, reliable, and proactive approach
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Desirable: Hydraulics or engineering experience
  • Technical sales background
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 / 45001 standards

Working Hours

Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am – 3:00pm
