Hedley Hydraulics is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to join our growing Wakefield team. You’ll support customers with quotations, pricing, and technical enquiries while helping convert opportunities into sales. This is a varied role working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams across industries including Energy, Renewables, Flood Defence, Food Processing, and Oil & Gas.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and follow up quotations
- Convert enquiries into orders and generate sales
- Support new and existing customers
- Handle pricing and technical queries
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments
- Maintain accurate records and use internal systems
- Develop knowledge of hydraulic components
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Essential: Sales, telesales, or customer service experience
- Strong communication and IT skills
- Organised, reliable, and proactive approach
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Desirable: Hydraulics or engineering experience
- Technical sales background
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 / 45001 standards
Working Hours
Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am – 3:00pm
