Full-time | Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch)

The role

As a Customer Service Administrator, you’ll play a key role in delivering a professional, efficient, and friendly service to our customers. You’ll be responsible for handling queries, managing orders, and ensuring customers receive accurate and timely updates.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle customer queries promptly and professionally
  • Provide accurate delivery updates for goods and services
  • Liaise with external suppliers and carriers
  • Obtain and share Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation
  • Investigate and report non-conformance issues (ISO9001)
  • Manage returns and process associated credits
  • Resolve customer issues or escalate where required
  • Support scheduling, filing, and document preparation
  • Assist with purchasing tasks (e.g. expediting orders, PODs)
  • Update orders, purchase orders, and issues on internal systems
  • Input orders and support sales team administration
  • Answer overflow inbound sales calls
  • Work collaboratively with other departments

  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident working both independently and as part of a team
  • Good IT skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated approach
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

  • Experience in customer service or sales administration
  • Experience chasing quotes or working in a technical/industrial environment
