The Role

As a Mobile Hydraulic Hose Engineer, you’ll be responsible for on-site repairs, installations, and maintenance of hydraulic systems. This is a customer-facing, field-based role with a mix of technical work and relationship building.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Repair and replace hydraulic hoses and components on-site
  • Diagnose faults and carry out effective solutions
  • Install, maintain, and service hydraulic systems
  • Record, photograph, and report all completed work
  • Participate in a call-out rota (24/7 service)
  • Build relationships with new and existing customers
  • Update job activity using internal systems (e.g. Trello)
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety procedures (RAMS)
  • Support stock control and ordering

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience with hydraulic systems and components
  • Strong understanding of health & safety practices
  • Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Customer-focused with a friendly, professional approach
  • Organised and able to work independently
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience in field service or mobile engineering (desirable)
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and compliance (desirable)
