RG Consultancy are working with a very well-established SME in Wrexham who are recruiting for Credit Controller to join their small accounts team on a part-time basis.

- Role Responsibilities
- Manage the credit control for an SME along with sales ledger and maintain accurate customer accounts
- Chase outstanding payments via phone calls and email
- Allocate payments and reconcile customer accounts
- Resolve invoice queries and payment disputes
- Assess new customer accounts and monitor credit limits
- Produce aged debt reports and monitor overdue accounts
- Work with internal teams to resolve account issues
- Negotiate payment plans if and when appropriate
- Support month-end processes and maintain accurate records
- Assist with general finance duties as required
Person Specification
- Previous experience working within a Credit Control, Sales Ledger or similar role
- An AAT or credit management qualification would be an advantage, however not essential
- Experience within a manufacturing or similar business is an advantage
- Strong communication and customer service skills, over the phone and by email
- Strong IT skills including accounting software and MS Excel
