RG Consultancy are working with an excellent manufacturing company, based at Trafford Park who are looking for a Credit Controller to join the finance team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role will be joining a small finance team.
Role Overview
You’ll be responsible for managing the full credit control function, ensuring customer accounts are paid on time and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Chasing outstanding payments and unpaid invoices
- Following up on remittances and debit notes
- Handling customer queries and resolving account issues
- Cash allocation and posting payments to ledgers
- Taking card payments and allocating receipts
- Opening new customer accounts
- Running credit reports
- Monitoring customer creditworthiness
- Liaising with credit insurers
- Producing aged debt reports
- Raising invoices and credit notes when required
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous credit control and/or administration experience
- Cash allocation experience
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Understanding of credit insurance processes
