RG Consultancy are working with a rapidly growing business on a brand-new role for a Management Accountant who wants to develop. You will work for a growing SME within a small finance team, report to and work closely with the Financial Director. You will be responsible for the management accounts, day to day running of the accounts department and oversee a small team of two accounts assistants.

The Role
- Preparation of monthly Management Accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Accruals and prepayments
- Monthly Profit & Loss
- VAT Returns
- Supporting and overseeing a small transactional team
- Supporting with leading projects, company growth and process improvements
- Assisting with year end and audit preparations
- Any other tasks to support the Finance Director as required
The Person
- CIMA/ACCA part or fully qualified
- Worked within an SME as a Finance Manager or a larger business as a management accountant would be an advantage
- Experience with implementation of a new system or department restructure/process change would be an advantage
- Experienced with managing and overseeing a small accounts transactional team
