We are working with a well-established and growing business that is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee the full finance function. This is a standalone role, reporting directly to the Managing Director, offering real autonomy and visibility within the business. The company is a successful, owner-managed organisation with a turnover of circa £10m, based in Skelmersdale. You will be working in a friendly, supportive environment and collaborating closely with other teams across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Processing purchase invoices
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Credit card reconciliations
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Processing and management of staff expenses
- Managing supplier payments via BACS and direct payments
