RG Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with an established utilities company based in Irlam, who are looking to add an experienced Finance Assistant to their established team. The Finance Assistant will support with General Accounts, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and any other ad hoc finance duties to support the team.
The Role:
- Purchase ledger for various companies within the Group as required.
- Monthly and mid-month payment runs.
- Bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Assist with Sales ledger invoices for specified companies within the Group.
- Payment on Account reconciliations.
- Processing employee expenses.
- Assist with audit requirements as directed.
- Inter company recharge invoices throughout the Group.
- Credit Control duties - chasing debt via email, phone and letter.
- Provide assistance to management accounts as required.
The Candidate:
- Experienced accounts assistant (3 years+).
- Solid knowledge of Excel and IT systems.
- Experience with a variety of accounting software.
- AAT (desired but not essential).
