RG Consultancy are working with an excellent company based in Worsley who are looking for a strong Accounts Assistant to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. This role is reporting into the Finance Manager and will be joining a team of 3 within the department.
Job Purpose: The Accounts Assistant will provide comprehensive support to the finance team, assisting with purchase ledger and credit control mainly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process purchase ledger and sales ledger transactions
- Responsible for all purchase ledger duties, manage and maintain the purchase ledger
- Processing invoices (including stock and overheads)
- Processing employee expenses
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assist with month end journals
- Manage the accounts inbox
- Perform data entry and general administrative tasks
- Provide general office support as required
Person Specification:
- Experience working in an SME environment is essential
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility on start and finish times
25 days holiday per year + bank holidays
