Accounts Receivable Clerk to join its established finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts receivable professional to join a supportive organisation where you will play a key role in managing the sales ledger and ensuring the efficient collection and allocation of customer payments.
Working closely with colleagues across finance and other departments, you will help maintain strong customer relationships while supporting the smooth running of the accounts receivable function.
Responsibilities
- Process daily banking transactions and allocate cash receipts accurately.
- Raise and issue customer invoices, credit notes and statements.
- Monitor customer accounts and ensure records are accurate and up to date.
- Reconcile cash and bank transactions.
- Assist with credit control activities and support cash collection processes.
- Support month-end accounts receivable duties and reporting requirements.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve customer account queries.
- Provide general finance and administrative support to the wider finance team.
Qualifications
- Previous experience within an Accounts Receivable, Sales Ledger or Credit Control role.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Confident communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems.
- A proactive and team-focused approach to work.
