Our client are seeking a reliable and detail‑driven Accounts Assistant with strong all‑round experience across sales ledger, purchase ledger, and bank reconciliations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to play a key role in a busy finance team.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the sales ledger, including raising invoices, allocating payments, and resolving customer queries.

Handle purchase ledger duties such as processing supplier invoices, matching to POs, coding, and preparing payment runs.

Complete daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.

Maintain accurate financial records and support month‑end processes.

Assist with supplier statement reconciliations and aged debtor/creditor reviews.

Provide general administrative and finance support as required.
About You

Experience across sales ledger, purchase ledger, and bank reconciliations is essential.

Strong attention to detail with a proactive, organised approach.

Confident using accounting software and Excel.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

A positive attitude and willingness to support wider finance tasks when needed.
