RG Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with an excellent construction company based in Rawtenstall who are looking to add an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Manager to their team. This role will report to the Directors of the company and be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounts for the business.
Duties include:
- Management of purchase and sales ledger
- Bank reconciliations
- Processing subcontractor invoices and supplier payments
- Credit control
- CIS returns
- Quarterly VAT returns (domestic reverse charge/DRC experience necessary)
- Monthly reporting
- Liaising with external accountants as required
- Supporting with month end and year end close
This role requires someone with experience working in accounts within the construction sector and knowledge of CIS - construction industry scheme, DRC VAT - domestic reverse charge, and the application for payments process is vital.
