RG Consultancy are delighted to be supporting an excellent, well-known legal firm based in Preston who are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager and Finance Director, the Credit Controller will be responsible for ensuring the the timely recovery of debt and maintaining accurate finance records.

Duties include:

  • Issuing statements in line with company policy
  • Negotiating and managing payment plans
  • Maintain accurate records of all credit control activity
  • Liaise with fee earners as required to support debt recovery
  • Process payments
  • Accurate ledger reconciliations

This Credit Controller position is suited to someone with experience managing their own ledgers and performs with great attention to detail. Relationship building and knowing the details of each account is key.
