RG Consultancy are recruiting an experienced Assistant Accountant for a retail company based in Prenton. This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT qualified candidate to join a well-established company and progress their career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Support month-end and year-end processes
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Process journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable where required
- Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow
- Assist with VAT returns and compliance reporting
- Produce financial reports and analysis for management
- Support audit preparation and maintain accurate financial records
- Contribute to improving finance processes and controls
