RG Consultancy are working with a well-established SME based in Middlewich who are recruiting for Finance Manager to join a small team. This role is a hands‑on finance manager role to oversee the full finance function for the business.

Role Responsibilities
- Oversee the day‑to‑day financial operations of the business
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and provide financial analysis
- Support senior leadership with insights to aid strategic decision making
- Monitor cashflow and maintain strong financial controls
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting standards
- Improve financial processes, systems, and reporting where needed
- Work closely with internal teams to support commercial performance
- Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors and advisors
- Support and develop a member of the finance team
Person Specification
- Strong experience in a financial and accounting role within an SME
- Experience working within an accounts management role
- Previous experience within a construction or manufacturing experience
- A professional accounting qualification CIMA/ACCA/ACA would be an advantage but not essential for this role
- Strong systems IT experience, SAGE would be preferable
