Finance Manager in Middlewich

RG Consultancy are working with a well-established SME based in Middlewich who are recruiting for Finance Manager to join a small team. This role is a hands‑on finance manager role to oversee the full finance function for the business.

Role Responsibilities

• Oversee the day‑to‑day financial operations of the business
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Prepare monthly management accounts and provide financial analysis
• Support senior leadership with insights to aid strategic decision making
• Monitor cashflow and maintain strong financial controls
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting standards
• Improve financial processes, systems, and reporting where needed
• Work closely with internal teams to support commercial performance
• Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors and advisors
• Support and develop a member of the finance team

Person Specification

• Strong experience in a financial and accounting role within an SME
• Experience working within an accounts management role
• Previous experience within a construction or manufacturing experience
• A professional accounting qualification CIMA/ACCA/ACA would be an advantage but not essential for this role
• Strong systems IT experience, SAGE would be preferable
