RG Consultancy are recruiting for a Legal Cashier for a very well-established firm of solicitors in Stockport. This is a part time role which has come around to support the department during a period of growth. You will join a small team of legal cashiers in the finance department and report back to the Head of Finance.

The Role:
- Purchase ledger, purchase invoices, reference to purchase orders and delivery notes
- Processing and recording all financial transactions in line with SARs
- Logging banking and issuing cheques, bank transfers
- Petty cash management
- Record incoming and outgoing invoices
- Work in accordance to VAT legislation
- Assist with annual audit preparations
- Assist with credit control duties when needed
- VAT Returns
The Person:
- AAT qualified or working towards an advantage
- Previous experience with the legal sector would be preferred
- Experience working within an accounts/financial office is essential
- IT proficient, especially in MS Excel
