RG Consultancy are working closely with an excellent large company who are looking for an accounts payable manager to join them on a full time permanent basis. This role would suit someone with strong accounts payable experience and ideally someone who has managed a team.
Duties:
- Lead the Accounts Payable team within a Shared Service Centre, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of high-volume invoices and payments.
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable operations across multiple entities, countries, or business units.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, acting as a key escalation point for complex queries, disputes, and payment issues.
- Drive vendor satisfaction through effective communication, issue resolution, and adherence to agreed payment terms.
- Monitor and manage vendor accounts, ensuring prompt reconciliation and resolution of outstanding items.
- Oversee invoice processing, payment runs, expense management, and supplier master data controls.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, tax regulations, and audit requirements.
- Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Partner with Procurement, Finance, Treasury, and operational stakeholders to improve processes and strengthen controls.
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives, automation opportunities, and best practices to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure appropriate documentation and controls are maintained.
- Lead, develop, coach, and motivate the Accounts Payable team, fostering a culture of accountability, customer service, and continuous improvement.
