Overview
RG Consultancy are delighted to be working with an excellent, well-established legal firm based in Preston who are looking to add an experienced Finance Manager to their team to lead the accounts function.
Overseeing a small team, this Finance Manager role would be responsible for ensuring the accurate recording of financial transactions and ensuring the business is operating within the SRA accounting rules.
Responsibilities
- Leading a small team of legal cashiers providing guidance and support as needed
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Ledger management
- Liaising with fee earners regarding completion monies and disbursements
- Cashflow management and forecasting
- Monthly management reporting for the Board of Directors
- Preparation of annual budgets
- Management of yearend process and liaising with external auditors
- Leading on annual SRA audit process
- Continual development of process and procedures
Qualifications
This role would only be suitable for someone with complete knowledge of the SRA accounts rules and has experience of working within a legal environment in a leadership role.
